Tiji Festival I – Thomas Kelly
$65.00 – $285.00
Lo Manthang, Mustang, Nepal.
The second morning of the Tiji Festival opens with offerings of prayers to Vajrakila.
The afternoon started with the unfurling of a large thangka, a near replica of an earlier one, newer in age. This thangka is also made of silk and hand embroidered with an image of Padmasambhava. It depicts the 8 forms of the Guru, with the two dakinis and King and Queen making offerings beneath the Thangka.
